NEW YORK BIG CITY OF QUEENS

Finally, back in the land of the living. DC was a 9-month experience I will never forget. But like a pregnancy it had its good and bad moments. Morning sickness: waking up and riding that horrible Metro paying 350 going to work and 350 returning from work. I love you MTA keep that 150 and unlimited metro card. Unlike NYC, if you aint got the loot and your paper card doesnt have money your stuck in the system. Washington, DC is very prehistoric in terms of its transportation for the nations capital. Labor pains, working in a city where making 36,000 a year is a big deal, while paying 750.00 for a two bedroom apartment. While drug transactions are being performed in front of your "luxury" Southwest apartment complex. Now one thing for sure, the gay and lesbians of the nation's capital. Stick together I think the brothers that have extended hands out to me through thick and thin. I also think the tired and worn sissies for their unapologetically hopeless mentality. Showed me that in darkness you can make your own light. I will miss my friends though, made a strong alligance with my strong peeps. It amazes me that in 2005, straight black men will love you uncondiationally. Yeah I was the gay one in the group, but I swore I was a line brother to these cats. I needed food, a brother would go all out his way, I needed a ride to the Metro, I got dropped off and picked up. Thats love, that we overlook in this life. So to my straight brothers (Darren, Christopher, Dino, the Patricks, The Gawad brothers...thanks a million for showing me that regardless of who we sleep with we are still men).

Now, for the goodies I have yet had a date since I've been here. I think I owe myself the time to readjust. I've flirted with the boys on Adam4adam.com, just not impressed. I refuse to show some dick or ass to get some attention its not that deep lol.

BACK TO NEW YORK

I survived Washington DC, for 9 months I enjoyed the town. Alot of lessons, good friends, disappointments, fulfillments and self revelation. Definetly was a good maturing experience for myself. I Found out my endurance, my strength, my truth that I am and can be whoever I want to be in this life.
